Mrs. Shirley Ann Williamson Connelly, of Morganton, passed on to her Heavenly home on January 23, 2024 at UNC Blue Ridge Morganton.
Shirley was born January 15, 1950, in Lincoln County, to the late Thomas Williamson and late Cristine Rippey Williamson. She was a long time member of Table Rock Church and enjoyed playing Bingo in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Howard Anthony; brothers, Calvin Williamson, Thomas Williamson, Paul Williamson, Allen Williamson; sisters, Marsha Gaither and Betty Hoover.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Howard Connelly; sons, Melvin Williamson, Andre Anthony (Sandrene) and Tony Anthony; step-daughters, Juanita Thomas, Crystal Connelly, Debra Connelly and Darlene Heyward; brother, Fred Williamson; sister, Brenda Douglas; grandchildren, Aisha Anthony, Kyla Shelton, Alana Anthony, Jessica Thrasher, Mason Anthony and many more.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Connelly will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday January 29, 2024, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Rev. Joe Shuford officiating. Interment will follow at Berrytown Cemetery, Valdese.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:00 A.M., Monday, at Heritage Funeral Service.
