Rebecca “Kaye” Bailey Norris graduated to her Heavenly Home, peacefully on the morning of May 3, 2025. Born in Burke County on March 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Bailey Carswell.
Kaye loved her family selflessly and taught us to love and cherish what matters most in this life. She was a shining example of strength and humility, hard work and sacrifice. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Donna Whittington (Plaz) and Holly Norris. Also surviving are the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Bailey Viggers, Madison Viggers, Will Viggers (Nebraska), Kylie Gregory and Brantley Gregory as well as many beloved cousins who were like brothers and sisters to her.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese, NC is assisting the family.
An online guestbook and obituary is available at www.heritagefuneralservices.com.
