Mrs. Nancy Shuffler Hudson, 80, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Monday October 23, 2023, at Amorem Buke Hospice, after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Hudson was born May 30, 1943, in Burke County, a daughter of the late David W. and Edith Aiken Shuffler. Nancy was an active member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and retired as a foster parent and from Amorem Hospice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Preston Hudson, and two brothers, Carl Shuffler and Ken Shuffler.
Surviving are, her son, Robert Hudson of Connelly Springs, a daughter, Debbie Preston (Robert) of Connelly Springs, a brother, Jim Shuffler of Valdese a sister, Shirley Winn of Connelly Springs and two sisters-in-law, Margaret Stallings and Marilyn Shuffler. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Jamie Barrier and husband Robert, David Edwards and great-grandchildren, Keith, Skylynn, Evan, Landon, Lillie, Riley and Bliss.
At Nancys request, there will be no service at this time.

Nancy and I would drink a pot of coffee when we visited. Talk about anything, especially her kids. She loved her family. I will miss you my dear friend. Until we meet again, God bless.🙏
