Mr. Derrick Timothy Davis, 54, of Claremont passed away on Monday April 14, 2025, at Presbyterian Novant Hospital, Charlotte, after a period of declining health.
Mr. Davis was born March 21, 1971, in Catawba County, the son of Steve A. and Helen Hunt Davis. He was a member of Warlick’s Baptist Church and employed as a machine operator in the furniture industry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve and Helen Hunt Davis of Vale, two daughters, Ashley Davis of Hickory, Caylee Cadle of Claremont, a son, Jaron Davis of Hickory a brother, Steve Patrick Davis (Brandy) of Charlotte and a sister, Kellie Martinez (Manny) of Newton. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Caia Brown of Hickory.
Funeral Services for Derrick Timothy Davis will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday April 18, 2025, in Warlick’s Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Murry officiating. Interment will follow in the Warlick’s Baptist Church Cemetery, with Manny Martinez, Jerry Hunt Sr., Jerry Lee Hunt, Chris Locklear, David Walker, and Robbie Parker serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Warlick’s Baptist Church.
