Daniel Lynn Rominger, 36, of Hickory passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at UNC Blue Ridge Morganton following a brief period of declining health.
Daniel was born May 17, 1987 in Watauga County to Tommy Rominger and the late Patricia Hicks Rominger. He attended Liberty Baptist Church and loved to be on the lake fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Tony Rominger; brother, Caine Fox; grandmothers, Sue Brittain and Rose Rominger; and grandfather, Charlie Rominger.
He is survived by his father, Tommy Rominger; sister, Becky Rominger (Mary); grandfather, Parde Hicks Sr. and wife Wanda; step-grandfather, Garland Brittain and wife Brenda; aunt, Tina Browning and husband Danny; uncles, Parde Hicks Jr. and wife Debbie, Andy Rominger and wife Lisa, David Rominger and wife April, and Ronnie Mack and wife Nicki.
A memorial service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on September 10, 2023 at 2:30 P.M.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:30 P.M.

Daniel was a good person in and out and we dated in school for 3 1/2 years and we kept in contact off and on and my prayers go out to the family. Garland,Tina And Danny he loved you all dearly.
