Mrs. Carol Woods Ribet, 87, of Rutherford College, went to live with her Heavenly Father, Friday April 18, 2025, at UNC Blue Ridge Health Care, Morganton, after a brief illness.

Those left to cherish her memory, are two daughters, Patricia Garrou and husband Wes of Valdese and Annette Ribet of Knoxville, TN, brother, Pat Woods and wife Alice, sister, Sidney Hollifield and husband Clay, sisters-in-law, Sue Woods and Bernice Ribet. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren Hailey Garrou and Tripp Garrou and a number of nieces and nephews along with special family friends, Judy Wishert, Richard and Betty Wagoner, Fern Brown and Joanna Long.

Dearest Tricia, Annette and Family, Your beautiful Mother lived a life of service, kindness and love which is reflected in each of you. Her faith was evident and we are all better for knowing her. While sad in missing her, we find joy in the assurance she’s with Christ, family and friends gone on before. You have our love and prayers, always.
Somehow Rutherford College seems less bright since her passing. She will be missed for years to come, not only at holidays, but on every bright and delightful day.
Dear Family:
We loved talking with Mrs Ribet each Sunday, and she was such a joy to be around. She was so kind and friendly, and made everyone feel so special and loved. She will be so missed, and prayers and peace to your family.
In Christ,
The Sanchez Family
