Mr. Barry Eugene Rutherford, 60, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Amorem of Valdese following a period of declining health.
Barry was born on June 7, 1963, in Burke County, a son of Barbara Rutherford Conley.
In addition to his father, Barry was preceded in passing by a great-grandmother, Faith Wilson, and grandmother, Pearl Harbison.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara Rutherford Conley, girlfriend, Mary Bishop; brother, Gary Rutherford and wife Barbara; sister, Gail June; daughter, Shakeedah Conley; grandchildren, Damarian Conley, Corey Baker, and Jayce Conley; nephews, Gary Carter and Donald Rutherford; and niece, Latemia O’Neil.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
