Andrew Lee Cole, 41, of Connelly Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Andy was born on August 24, 1982, in Burke County, to Robert “Bobby” Lynn Cole and Vickie Carswell Cole. He was currently employed as a brick mason in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Judy and Buck Carswell , and by his brother Josh Cole, and one uncle, Danny Lail.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his daughter, Skyla Cole, and his significant other, Tasha Ryan. Also surviving is a niece, Marie Laws and husband, Ricky, and great-niece and nephew, Kyleigh and Malachi Laws.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Connelly Springs, with Rev. Curtis Carroll and Rev. Stoney Kanupp officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 5770 Miller Bridge Rd., Connelly Springs, NC 28612.

Vickie, prayers to you and your family. I know your heart is broken. I had the pleasure of helping Andy with some insurance on his truck a couple of years ago where I work. He was a fine and polite young man. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
In such disbelief over this! Andy you were such a amazing person and had a heart like no other! You had character and morals, something you don’t find anymore. You love your mom and daddy like no other & even though I know you are so happy to be reunited with your brother you missed so much! We are all hurting down here! I’m praying hard for your family and we will never forget you! Thank you for the years of true friendship and loyalty! Until we meet again.
