The Bumgarner family, through broken hearted mess, would like to announce the passing of William Shane Bumgarner age 46. He was a beloved Father, brother, and friend. Shane or Seven; as some knew him, was born August 13, 1976.

Shane is preceded in death by his mother and father, William Yates Bumgarner in 2004 and recently in January of this year Teresa B Bumgarner.

Shane Bumgarner had A-fib and kidney related issues that caused his heart, liver, and kidneys to fail him. He was on life support until Friday June 2, 2023, when the family gathered around him as he passed from here into eternity.

He leaves behind three beautiful children that were his life. Bryson 21, Haven 20, and Leslee 17. He also leaves behind his sister and brother-in law Terry Rechandle and John Schofield and another Sister Brielle Bumgarner and a brother Scott Bumgarner. He leaves behind seven nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Megan, Robin, Johnny, Olivia, Preston, and Braiden. And with no lesser intent he leaves behind his girlfriend Lisa Martin and her children. Also, we cannot forget to mention Jamie Patton, the mother of Haven and Bryson, but not only that, throughout the years remained one of Shanes dearest friends. She was his rock when standing on unstable grounds.

Shane will be immensely missed. It is with great joy we declare that on his death bed on May 31, 2023, his sister Rechandle lead him to the Lord giving them all the blessed assurance of eternity where their beloved father, brother, and friend now resides. We now transfer his earthly residence to his Heavenly abode.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday June 5, 2023, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Buchanan. Interment will follow in the Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service.

An online guestbook and obituary are available at www.heritagefuneralservices.com.
