Willard Martin Grindstaff, born May 25, 1956, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2024 after a period of declining health.

Willard was born in Elizabethton, TN and moved to Valdese, NC in the 1970’s. He enjoyed reading books and driving around and looking at deer. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dayton Charles Grindstaff and Pearl Oliver Grindstaff; and sisters, Brenda Charlotte Chaney and Sherry Gail Grindstaff.

He is survived by one sister, Barbara Keller of Drexel, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
