Mr. Troy Alan Fletcher, 71, of Valdese, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at UNC-BR Morganton, surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Alan was born on January 22, 1953, in Burke County to the late Troy Lafayette Fletcher Jr. and Marguerite Mourglea Fletcher. He was a retired brick mason, working in the construction industry for many years.
Survivors include his two sons, Cory and Christian Fletcher of Valdese, three sisters, Lisa Caldwell and husband Dean of Greensboro, Sharon Tarpley and husband James of Valdese and Glenda Fletcher of Taos, NM, one niece, Brooke Moorefield and husband Jason, and one nephew, Shane Seagle and wife Lesley.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the LPDA Building at 301 Laurel St. SE, Valdese, NC. Everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy light refreshments during this time of remembrance.
