Mr. Tommy Keller Lane, 50, of Hudson, died Monday March 11, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Lane was born October 2, 1973, in Burke County, a son of Denis Lane and Cynthia Caraway Keys. He was employed with JBS, a meat cutting co.
He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Kristine Lane of Morganton, his mother, Cindy Caraway Keys and husband, Jeffery David Keys of Drexel, his father, Denis Lane of Morganton, and sisters, Kimberly Lane Palmer of Drexel and Deidre Michelle Basham of Marion. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Dax Cheuvront and Layla Cheuvront and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services for Tommy Keller Lane will be held at 3:30 P.M. Sunday March 17, 2024, at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. John Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow in the Drexel Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 P.M. Sunday at Enon Baptist Church.
Memorials may be given to the family to help with expenses.

I am sorry to hear about Tommy he was a good person always kind and cheerful I liked him a lot we worked together .
Tommy was most definitely one in a million. He had a heart of gold and a sense of humor like no other! He will be missed by some many who loved him so much. I was so proud of all the positive changes he made in his life and the fact he really was living right this time. My heart along with so many others is shattered and I am sincerely very sorry for the families loss. Yall are in my thoughts and prayers.

Me and Tommy went to High School together. Have not seen each other in sometime. Caught back up on Facebook. I used to work at a club back in High School. I got Tommy a spot as a loader to help with the Warrant show. He was so thrilled. Tommy was a good dude and will be missed. Prayers for all his family.

Tommy worked for me at The Holiday Inn in Morganton……My prayers are with you ,Cindy..He was always alot of fun when working or goofing off…..I had not seen him in years but I am sure he was the same. My heartfelt condolences to you. tim
