Ms. Teresa Lynn Merrell Edmonson, 64, of Morganton passed away Saturday, October19, 2024 at Catawba Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Teresa was born May 20, 1960 in Burke County to the late Ralph Pearson Merrell and Gladys Evelyn Miller Merrell. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; and enjoyed beach trips, shopping, and going out for dinner.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Merrell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jedadiah Tallent and wife Marla of Morganton, and Nicholas Jamison and fiancé Ashley Poovey of Morganton; grandchildren, Xavier Tallent, Brayden Tallent, Everly Jamison, and Brantley Withers; siblings, Larry Merrell and wife Ruthie of Morganton, Vicki Whisnant of Morganton, and Donna Burnette of Morganton; and her canine companions, Kookie and Ziggy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and announced by Heritage Funeral Service.
