Stoney Jovaun Pritchard, 42, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2024.
Stoney was born August 25, 1981, in Burke County, a son of Lawrence Pritchard and Kathy Norville.
He is preceded in passing by his grandfather, Bill Norville, and a cousin, Jacob Wright.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Kathy Swink and boyfriend, Terry Sutton; grandmother, Jo Norville; daughter, Scarlett Skye Pritchard; aunt, Debbie Cook (Kenneth); and cousins, Amanda Cook, Jason Cook, Rashell Wright, Joshua Whitesides, Faithley Fortenberry, Sarah Cook, Michelle Cook, Daniel Cook, Eddie Jones, Johnny Jones, and numerous other cousins.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory is assisting the family.
Dearest Kathy, I am so saddened to know that Stoney
has passed away. He was so much like you, caring and kind!
I think about both you and he very often. I appreciated him so much when he stayed with me the night that Mom died. I have wanted to see you and Stoney for so long. Please know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Love You Kathy!!
