Dear Linda and family,
Eddie and I were so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was a wonderful man and friend. We have so many memories of car shows with you, Steve and Marty. Love to get the pictures out and remember what experiences and fun we had. May God bless you and yours and give you comfort and peace.
Steve was one of the finest men I have ever known. I served with him at MEPS Charlotte, NC as a Recruiter & Guidance Counselor from 1982 to 1988. SFC Bollinger was my NCOIC and a mentor. He may have left us but he will not be forgotten. His love for his wife Linda, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren was seen in everything he did. I know he missed Marty and the times he spent with him while he was alive. He put others before himself. It was an honor to have known him and to have served with him and to have met his wonderful family, May God watch over the Bollinger family and comfort you during this time.
So sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.
To Linda & family,
Doris and I were saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. Steve a great friend and mentor to me. We served together from 1982 to 1988 as a recruiter & Guidance Counselor at Charlotte MEPS. I was so honored to have know him and to have met you and your family. May God Bless you and he entire Bollinger family during this difficult time.
Linda and Family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Steve and I worked pretty close as Meps Guidance Councilors. I hadn’t seen Steve for many years and I was fortunate to spend a few days with him at our reunion at Ft Fisher in November.
Again, my deepest condolences .
I was stunned to see SFC Steve Bollinger had passed away. The only notice I saw was in The Tarheel Guardsman magazine. Steve and I worked closely together in the S4 section of the 540th Qm Bn (PS). He was a great guy and it was an honor to have known him and got to work with him. Steve, You and your family are in our prayers. God Bless you. Charlie A. Martin, Major Retired NCARNG
