Sherry Lynn “Boo Boo” Raper, 52, of Morganton, passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her residence.

Sherry was born January 20, 1972 in Ohio to the late Roy Raper and Brenda Crites. She loved to make people laugh and was always there to listen or help anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Raper.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Raper; son, Calvin Bame; grandchildren, Aleigha, Alona, and Triston; and great-granddaughter, Araya. Also surviving is her brother, Daniel Raper; and her pet companions, Peanut, Bella, and Smokey.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
