Samuel Everette Young, 39, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023.

Samuel was born February 15, 1984 in Catawba County to the late Ricky Young and Sheila Hildebran. He loved his family and children and enjoyed poetry, music, and art.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Annie Fox and Betty Young; and grandfather, Roy Fox.

He is survived by his daughters, Jazmyn Young and Kalie Young and their mother Bethany Yount and her husband Chris; sister, Billie Peeler and husband JP; and one niece and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
