Ruth Helene Braun Jacumin, 87, of Valdese, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Ruth was born March 10, 1937 in Germany to the late Paul Braun and Gertrud Engels. She worked in the banking industry for many years and was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Jacumin of the home; daughter, Susan Santos and husband Enrique of Rock Hill, SC; and sister, Elizabeth Luetje and husband Gerd of Germany.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Roberts officiating.

My parents(Ruth and Herman Crump) and I always loved Ruth! At the bank, Ruth did her work to perfection. She always had a beautiful smile and a kind word for us. It was great seeing Ruth and Paul at Phifer Wellness Center in more recent years.
