We had many conversations about many subjects. He was a great guy
This man was the absolute PERFECT example of the hands and feet of the Jesus he loved immensely. He touched the lives of every single person he came in contact with. His sense of humor broke down every wall that anyone could ever have. He loved Jesus, and every word he spoke made it evident. The world is truly a bit dimmer having lost his light. Shane has hugged Jesus! I pray for peace for his family!
Shane will be missed. He had a peace and a calming spirit about him. He gave good advice on life situations, but above all of this he loved Jesus.
Dear Zac and family,

My condolences and prayers to Julie and all those affected by Shane’s passing. I remember in high school, and I knew he would be a great person and someone who could and would touch the lives of many. It’s hard to say an early goodbye to anyone but knowing Shane is in God’s hands means he is in a much better place and the promise we will all see him again in heaven with renewed lives is what makes life worth living for. God Bless You All.

It was a great privilege having Shane as pastor, preacher, teacher and, friend. His spirit is in heaven but, his memories for me will forever be in Lakeview Baptist church! Love you Shane and, your wonderful family.
Shane spent many days and nights with us during his high school years. We loved him like a son. He even spent the night before his wedding with us. I’ll never forget him sitting on Lori’s vanity seat and her combing his hair. Shane said ” Don’t tell Julie, she’ll be jealous”. He was like another brother to her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Julie, children and family, my prayers are with and for you all. Shane was a wonderful man of God and a great person. I truly believe that he lived what he preached.

I pray God grant comfort to all the family. Shane was a Great Man. His Love for God, his Family and his Friends will never be forgotten I will always hold his memory dear to my heart
Shane was a top notch guy and he was always there to listen and give good advice. I believed he enjoyed giving everyone the benefit of doubt even in a world full of chaos. No one will ever know the depths of the amount of people his life touched. He will truly be missed by so many. As I watched the slideshow today of his life it was comforting to know he had a smile in almost every one of the photos. He lived his life to the fullest with happiness in his heart.
Jeremiah and I were deeply saddened to hear of Shane’s passing. Know that your family is in our thoughts.
Julie, you are in our thoughts and prayers. You hope to have the right words to say when something like this happens but I’m at a loss for words right now. Just know I’m thinking of you, the kids and that precious grandson. I love you!
