Ronnie Lee Jones, 52, of Connelly Springs, left us to be with his Lord on October 19, 2023 after a period of declining health.

He was born July 16, 1971 to Francis Chapman Crane and, the late, Donnie Lee Jones in Shelby, NC. Ronnie will enthusiastically be known as an amazing artist, woodworker, avid hunter, and jokester. Above all, Ronnie was a generous person who had an enormous heart.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Jones; son, Donnie Lee Jones; stepfather, Junior Crane; brother, Matthew Crane; sisters, Tina Hildebran, Kathy Merrell and Crystal Jones.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother; fiancé, Marcie Bean; brothers, Jerry Jones, George “John Boy” Crane, Danny Gouge and Dustin McCurry; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold private services at a later date.
