Mr. Robert Richard Tripp, 90, of Granite Falls, NC, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away January 27, 2024 at Grace Village Assisted Living following a period of declining health.
Robert was born August 15, 1933 in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Marguerite Isabel Tripp, following her passing he was raised by the late Clarence Lyle Tripp and Ruth E. Tripp. He was a member of the Valdese Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Marie Tripp of Granite Falls; children, Jeffrey Alan Tripp and wife June of Sydney, Australia, Chris Norquay Tripp and wife Diane of Valdese, and Jill Marie Schroeder and husband Steve of South Lyon, MI; grandchildren, Jonathan Tripp, Alicia Araya and husband Alex, Philip Tripp, Nathanael Tripp and wife Margaret, and Riley Schroeder; and great grandchildren, Chloe and Chanel Araya.
On February 10, 2024 , a private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, MI. A public visitation with family will begin at 1PM with a memorial service at 2PM to be held at the Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian, MI.  After the service light refreshments will be servedto provide more time to share memories with family.
