Revonda Belle Tweed, 81, of Morganton, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Morganton Long Term Care, following a period of declining health.
Revonda was born on August 14, 1941 in Burke County to the late Walter Tweed and Jonsey Poteet Tweed Swink.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, Leroy Swink, a sister, Marie Buff and husband Woodrow, a brother, Fred Tweed and wife Nora, and a brother in-law, Ken White.
Survivors include her significant other, Jerel “Shanghi” Corriher of Valdese, her brother, Rex Tweed and wife Ellen of Morganton, two sisters, Myrtle Cannon and husband Joe of Connelly Springs, and Dianne White of Valdese.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
