Mr. Randy Dean Justice, 67, of Morganton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday
February 4, 2025.
Mr. Justice was born September 10, 1957, in Burke County, a son of the late Robert
Henry and Odene Mae LeFevers Justice. He was a retired state employee with the NC
State Environmental Services at J. Iverson Riddle Development Center. Prior to his time
at J. Iverson Riddle, he worked many years for Bi-Lo Supermarkets. Randy enjoyed
sitting by the carp pond fishing with his son, he was an avid bowler for decades and
thought the world of his friends in his bowling leagues. He loved to sit in his rocker
relaxing on his front porch, grilling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also
cherished his vacations with family. His favorite activities of late revolved around his
precious granddaughter and snuggling together with her in his favorite recliner and
sharing sweet treats together.
Patty and Randy met in high school at 17 years of age and were inseparable from then
on. Randy was a genuine, kind, loving man welcoming of all and will be sorely, sorely
missed by his family and friends.
Randy is survived by his wife, Patty Pittman Justice of the home, son, Derek Robert
Justice (Laura) of Fort Mill, SC, daughter, Casey Justice Bannerman (Tyler) of Fletcher,
NC and “Paw Paw’s girl”, Piper Elizabeth Justice of Fort Mill, SC.
Randy’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all of the emergency
personnel that responded, as well as, the church community of Mull’s Grove Baptist
Church.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at his residence on Saturday February 8,
2025, from 2:00 until 4:00pm.

Morganton, NC 28655.

I bowled against Randy many times in leagues at mimosa lanes. He was a good guy and someone you didn’t mind getting beat by. Prayers for you Patty.

So very sorry for your loss, Randy was a great person, I loved working with him if only for a few years. We would set in the truck and tell stores and get to laughing so hard we would have tears rolling down our faces. He will truly be missed, Anita and I our prayers are with you and your family.
