Randy Blake Williams, 70, of Valdese, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Amorem Hospice following a period of declining health.

Randy was born September 1, 1953 in Catawba County to the late Robert Dale Williams and Naomi Collins Scott. He worked for the rock quarry in his younger days and then continued to work at Burke Mills until his retirement. Randy was a simple man who loved the Dallas Cowboys, Nascar, fishing and his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Saunders Williams; grandmother, Myrtle Williams; and nephew Seth Frazier.

He is survived by his brothers, Bobby Williams and wife Diane, and Keith Scott and fiancée Janet Rose; sisters, Tina Bowman and husband Clint, and Lee Ann Cranford and husband Mike; and special nieces and nephews, Cory Willis, Sophia Willis, Lauren Colvin, Abbigail Secrest, Brian Williams, Tyler Scott and wife Michelle, and Keilan Scott.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
