Patsy Sue Lowman Bishop, 74, of Connelly Springs, passed away on October 5, 2023, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.
Patsy was born February 12, 1949, in Burke County, to Ruth Mace Lowman and the late Grady Lowman. She treasured her family and found solace in cooking for those she cared for. A member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, in Connelly Springs, Patsy was a woman who loved the Lord and spoke often about the importance of being saved to one day meet her in Heaven.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bishop and sister, Vickie Brakefield.
Along with her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Grady Leonard (Tracy) and Scottie Leonard (April); brother, Howard Dean Lowman (Mabel); sister, Nancy Hubbard; grandchildren, Jessica Rice (Daniel), Joseph Leonard and Zackary Leonard; and her beloved dog, Piper.
