Mrs. Pamela Stephens, 69, of Hildebran, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Atrium HealthCare of Charlotte, following a period of declining health.
Pamela was born on July 30, 1954, in Avery County, to the late Evelyn Clontz Carpenter. She was a member of Kings Way Baptist Church and was employed as an office manager in healthcare. Pamela was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a huge fan of both the UNC Tarheels and the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deb Schneider, two grandchildren, Bella and Serenity, a niece, Michelle Steffey and a nephew, Jesse Crowder.
Survivors include her husband Andrew Stephens of the home, four children: Angie Robinson and husband Mike of Wilmington, Greg Stephens of Morganton, Jeff Stephens and wife Summer of Conover, and Danny Stephens and wife Naomi of Connelly Springs. Also surviving are two brothers, Danny Crowder and wife Norma of Newland, and Tony Crowder and wife Lisa of Spruce Pine, and her beloved grandchildren: Brittney, Jordan, Devin, Kalie, Alora, Reese, Trey. Gabriel. Hunter, Jaxson, Courtney, Gage, Remington, and Crimson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Andy Stephens officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
