Pamela Joann (McCauley) Allison, 71 of Wellsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023 into the loving arms of Jesus at Trinity Ridge memory care in Hickory, North Carolina.
Pam was born on November 12, 1951 in East Liverpool, Ohio to John H. McCauley of Chester, West Virginia and the late Flora Ruth McCauley.
Pam graduated from Wellsville High School in 1970. She was a member of the band and later the Wellsville Alumni Band. She loved sports and was a huge Ohio State fan. Some of her greatest memories were cheering on the Buckeyes and the Steelers with her brothers.
Pam had an incredible work ethic and throughout her life worked at the IGA, Citizens Bank of Wellsville, CCDJFS, and ran H&M trucking company. She later worked and retired from Salem Elementary School.
Pam was a homemaker for many years, raising her daughters Heather and Melody. She was a proud mother who loved watching her daughters succeed athletically and academically, both at Wellsville High School and then at their respective Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. She also enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren Reagan, Grace, and Ella. She was elated to finally have a grandson, Beau who was born a few hours after her birthday. She also adored her grand dogs Tucker, Gus, and Remmi.
Pam was known to family and friends alike for her infectious smile, caring personality, and great pride in her home where she passionately kept a meticulous yard with never a blade of grass out of place.
In addition to her father, survivors include her beloved children, Heather A. (David) Wiseman of Valdese, NC and Melody K. (Jason) Shilot of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren Reagan, Grace, and Ella Holland and Beau Wiseman of Valdese, NC; siblings Ron (Gail) McCauley and Gary McCauley of East Liverpool, Marsha (Bruce) Larson of Dubuque, Iowa; J. Kevin McCauley of Chester, WV; H. Greggory (Lana) McCauley of Wadsworth, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother Flora Ruth McCauley, and her brother Stephen M. McCauley. She will be laid to rest with her mother and brother at Columbiana County Memorial Park in East Liverpool, Ohio.
A memorial service is scheduled on Monday, July 3, at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church, Wellsville, Ohio. Visitation (receiving of friends) will be 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, before the memorial service.
Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory of Valdese is serving the family and an online guestbook and obituary are available at www.heritagefuneralservices.com.
Since Pam believed strongly in education, in lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to her grandchildren’s future education. Memorial contributions can be made via Venmo at @Melody-Allison-2, or personally to their family.
Sending you love and prayers! I’m here for whatever you need! Big hugs!
