Mrs. Annie Mildred Rayfield Mull, 85, of Drexel, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Cambridge House Nursing Home, following a period of declining health.
Mildred was born on November 29, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Howard Rayfield and Annie Mae Lail Rayfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Valdese, and was a retired seamstress , working for Crestline and Hickory Hill Furniture for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Mull, and a sister, Linda Sigmon.
Survivors include her three daughters, Debra Huffman of Drexel, Sherry Biddix and husband Carl of Ocala, FL, and Dawn Smith and husband Don of Valdese. Also surviving are two brothers, Harold Rayfield of Hickory, Paul Rayfield and wife Carmela of Florida, three grandchildren; Amanda Firestine, Michelle Riffe and Ava Smith,, and three great-grandchildren; Devin Firestine, Hayden Joseph Riffe and Ian Joshua Riffe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Josh Lail officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
