Mee Chang Hang, 93, of Valdese passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at her home, following a period of declining health.

Mee was born in Laos on April 18, 1931 to the late Nao Lue Chang and May Hang Chang.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Nhia Lee Hang.

She is survived by her eleven children; forty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and a half-sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese with Pastor Pao Ly officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday at Burke Memorial Park.
