Mason Cole Pridemore, 22, of Hickory, passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025.

Mason was born, September 20, 2002, in Burke County, a son of Corey Heath Pridemore and Kimberly Ellen Benfield.  He was a graduate of East Burke High School and employed in the Shipping Department of Target.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph William Pridemore and aunt, Robin McCrain.

Surviving are, his companion, Ashley Brown of Valdese, his parents, Corey Pridemore and step-mother, Cody Leatherman of Connelly Springs, mother, Kimberly Ellen Benfield of Drexel, brother, Kaden Pridemore of Hickory, sisters, Chloe Pridemore of Hickory, Dixie Leatherman and Heidi Leatherman both of Connelly Springs.  Also surviving are his grandparents, Sharon Pridemore of Hickory, Randy and Linda Leatherman of Connelly Springs, Elgie and Martha Benfield of Drexel, Ashleys parents, Cletus and Jackie Brown of Valdese and a cousin, Justin McCrain of Connely Springs.

Funeral Service for Mason Cole Pridemore will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday February 28, 2025, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service.

The Family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 P.M. Friday February 28, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday March 1, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the R and L Leatherman Family Cemetery on Wards Gap Road in Connelly Springs.
