Mary Louise Swink Canipe, 74, of Casar, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Wendover Hospice House, following a period of declining health.

Mary was born November 12, 1949 in Cleveland County to the late Lester S. Swink and Lula B. Swink. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and worked in the furniture industry. Mary loved watching old westerns and especially Gunsmoke.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Bobby Eugene Canipe, and David Pete Canipe; brother, John Henry Swink; and infant sister.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Swink and wife Lynn; sister, Bonnie Sisk and late husband Ronald; four nieces; two nephews; three great nieces; eight great nephews; one great-great nephew; and her fur baby Bella.

A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
