The family of Mary Frances Robinson Moore is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Amorem Hospice Care Center, she was 94 years young.
Frances was born on November 17, 1930 in Catawba County to the late Herman Flake Robinson and Marie Loftin Robinson. She spent her life in Valdese, NC and married Charles Columbus Moore, Jr. and they had three children. Life was good there with church, school and sports. Frances worked at Burke Yarns Co. as a receptionist and later finished her work life at Western Carolina Center.
In retirement, she enjoyed gardening, helping at church, and helping with her grandchildren. Our family celebrated her 94th birthday this past November, with over 30 relatives attending. We were lucky enough to celebrate our Christmas Family Dinner this year at her home. Frances baked her famous coconut cake and her wonderful chocolate cake! Our family will miss all the care she showed to us.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Moore; her son, Jeff Moore; her sister, Dot Martin and a brother, Bobby Robinson.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Barbara (Dan) Davis, and Annette Moore Howes; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Ben) Smith, Patrick (Katie) Davis, Caroline (Dalton) Clark, Megan (Aaron) Bradley, Dean (Betsy) Moore, Robert Moore, and Franklin Moore; her great-grandchildren, Lilla, Webb, Wheeler, Ford, Georgia, Nathan, Savannah, Ben and Kemsley; she is also survived by her brother, Bill (Sylvia) Robinson; and her brother-in-law, Glen Martin. Also many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.
