Mrs. Mary Ellen Lowman Hudson, 96, of Vale, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Carolina Caring Hospice in Sherrills Ford, after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Hudson was born April, 1927 in Burke County, a daughter of the late Dewey and Nona Carswell Lowman. She was a charter member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and retired as an inspector in the Hosiery Manufacturing industry. Mary Ellen was a hard working farmers wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Roosevelt Hudson.
Surviving are her sons, Regan Hudson of Vale and John Hudson of Morganton.
A Graveside Service for Mary Ellen Hudson will be held Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Richards officiating.
