Mr. Marshall Lee “Bud” Powell, 87, of Valdese, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care following a period of declining health. Marshall was born July 23, 1931, in Burke County, to the late Garlie Powell and Elsie Abee Powell. He was a great husband and father.
