Margaret Louise Lowman Brittain, 81, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at home following a period of declining health.

Margaret was born September 25, 1942, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Grover Columbus Lowman and Dora Ann Stamey Lowman.  She was much loved by her family.  She was saved, and we are glad she is in a better place.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Herman Eugene Brittain, and a daughter, Christy Brittain.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Gregory Brittain.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Burns Memorial Baptist Church with Preacher Dwight Lowman officiating.  Interment will follow at Herman Brittain Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Brittain will lie in state on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Burn’s Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund at 5490 Mineral Springs Mountain Avenue, Valdese, NC 28690.
