Mrs. Margaret Jean Rollins Van Dyke, 76, of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her residence.
Margaret was born on July 25, 1946 in Cleveland County to the late Albert Rollins and Mary Hellen Stover Rollins. She was a member of Gamewell United Methodist Church and was retired from food services with Piedmont Vending.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Van Dyke, and two brothers, Carl, and David Rollins.
Survivors include four children: Tina Grubb and husband Robert of Salisbury, Patricia Lowman of Valdese, Joey Lutz and wife Sherri of Granite Falls, and Jennifer Lutz of Valdese. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, with one on the way, three sisters, Phyllis Bivens, Mary Sue Cline and husband Fred, and Cherry Rollins, and one brother, Thom Rollins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Gamewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Garrett Brown officiating.

To all my cousins may you rest in knowing that your mom is in a better place and that she’s with God now I pray that God will help You through this hard time because we know death is hard on the living you’re in my prayers and I send my love and condolences unfortunately. Aunt Margaret was always wanting to make those around her feel loved. She really loved all of you and all of them grand/great-grand-babies!
