Louise Martha Wise, 86, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Wednesday September 11, 2024, at Brookdale Peachtree Nursing Center, after a period of declining health.
Louise was born February 3, 1938, in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Jerry C. and Ola Street Wise. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Icard for many years and retired from Hickory Chair Furniture after many years of service.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Walter Wise (Mary) of Valdese, sister Maxine Morrison of Vale, brother, Daniel Wise (Lucy) of Statesville, brother Bobby Wise (Susan) of Vale, brother and sister-in-law, Linda Wise of Hickory.
Funeral Services for Louise Martha Wise will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday September 17, 2024, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Hickory.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.

Miss Louise was a dear, sweet soul with a lovely sense of humor and steely determination. It was a blessing to know her and be a small part of her life.
