Mrs. Linda Kay Bivins Lowman, 83, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Friday January 24, 2025, at Autumn Care of Drexel, after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Lowman was born, March 17, 1941, in Catawba County, a daughter of the late Everette Bivins and Effie Houston Bivins Hildebran.  She was retired as a seamstress from Abla-Waldensian, after more than 37 years of service and after retirement she enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lowman a daughter, Debra Hice, granddaughter, Janie Hice, a brother, Milton Hildebran, and companion for 25 years, Harrel Hildebrand.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Becky Craig (Jerry) of Connelly Springs and Cindy Craig (Billy) of Valdese, son-in-law, Michael Hice of Connelly Springs, a sister Nancy Triplett of Lenoir and a brother, Jackie Hildebran (Crystal) of Connelly Springs.  Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Jeremy Davis (Valarie), Steven Craig (Cameo), Jody Hice (Ellie), great-grandchildren, Delanie Davis, Caroline Craig, Ella Craig, Lainey Craig, Lillian Hice, Henry Hice and step-grandchildren, Brooke Whipple (Matt) and Christopher Craig (Diana).

Funeral Services for Linda Kay Bivins Lowman will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday January 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Stoney Kanupp officiating. Interment will follow in the Warlicks Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Matt Hoilman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
