Mrs. Linda Collins Blair, 75, of Drexel, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her residence, following a period of declining health.
Linda was born on April 2, 1949 in Wise County, VA to the late Spencer and Gladys Collins. She was a member of Connelly Springs First Baptist Church and was previously employed in healthcare and in the furniture manufacturing industry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Junior Blair and one brother, David Collins.
Survivors include her two sons, James Blair and wife Becky of the home, Steve Blair and wife Chere of Valdese, and two brothers, Gary Collins of Stone Gaps, VA and Steve Collins of Lenoir. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ashley and Matt Bradshaw of Hickory, Jason and Kristen Blair of Hickory, and Josie and Jasmine, along with several great-grandchildren and her caregiver Jan Craig.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Connelly Springs First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Danny Townsend officiating.
