Mrs. Linda Sue Causby Wilson, 76, of Morganton, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at her residence, following a brief illness.
Linda was born on March 16, 1946 in Burke County to the late Robert Causby and Zula Gates Causby. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who served her family as a home maker for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, David, Jim, Bill, Kenneth and Ted Causby, a sister, Jo Ann Mills, and a son in-law, Mark Biggerstaff.
Survivors include her husband, Zonnie Wilson of the home, three children, Terry Lee Wilson and wife Laura of Valdese, Steve Wilson and wife Christine of Morganton, and Teresa Tallent and husband Eric of Morganton. Also surviving are six grandchildren: John Biggerstaff, Stephanie Wilson, Jake Wilson, Tabitha Wilson, Riley Wilson, and Dalton Wilson, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a gathering of friends at the family residence on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 P.M.

This lady was truly one of my dearest and best friends ..for many yrs she and I shared many adventures,near and far … she was ALWAYS right there for me and my family if we needed anything ..many,many times she would clean and organize my closets .if I was looking for anything I would call her and ask ,she would tell which closet and which shelf …she cooked my supper for me and my husband ( he loved her and her cooking ) as did I ..yes Linda there are no known words to say exactly how I feel ,I am lost because I lost a dear , amazing special friend ..I love youLady RIP
