Mrs. Linda Anderson Weaver, 73, of Morganton, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2022 at UNC Healthcare, Morganton, after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Weaver was born January 28, 1949, in Okaloosa County, Fla., a daughter of the late Leo and Edna Johnson Anderson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a wonderful homemaker. Linda was known for her sewing ability, making quilts and donating them to South Mountain Children’s Home, Children’s Advocacy, and others she knew. She made over 3,000 Covid Mask and gave them away, she was always doing for others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Fuller and three brothers, Elwood “Butch” Anderson, Steve Anderson and Dale Anderson.
Left to cherish her memory is, her husband of 57 years, Frank Wayne Weaver of the home and two sons, Bruce Weaver and wife Michelle of Morganton, Brock Weaver and wife Barbara of Valdese, three sisters, Sharon Anderson, Nancy Roberts and Alice Meyer. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Alex Weaver (Logan), Quentin Weaver, Heather Carswell (Josh), Kaitlin Fish (Caleb), and great-grandchildren, Landon Carswell, Parker Weaver and Reece Weaver.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Sunday January 1, 2023, at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev David Turbeville officiating. Interment will follow in the Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
Such a loving soul! Linda will be missed by so many! God bless you all and may she rest in peace!

Frank/Wayne, I so feel for you! You were blessed to have shared many years together. The loss of a companion is like none other! May God bless you to remember the shared time you had. May God uphold you when missing Linda will seem unbearable. I pray He will bless you to remind you of the good, of the best. I really wanted to attend and give my respects to you and your family. Please forgive me, my body frequently fails me. But, my heart morns with you and your family. We were all blessed to have had Linda in our lives.
