Lawrence (Larry) Belas, age 63, passed over on January 17th, 2024. He was the son of Darlene Ross (Deceased) and Allen Belas (Deceased). He was a man of service to his Lord, Family, and Country. He served faithfully as a Teacher, Deacon, Ordained Minister, and in any way possible to honor/glorify God. Larry was a Great Dad to his children who love him very much. Larry was a veteran and served honorably in the United States Navy as a Seabee. Larry will forever be missed by his loving wife and best friend, Barbara, Kasey Holland (Daughter), Phillip Holland (Son-in-Law), Lawrence Wayne Belas II (Son), Hannah Belas (Daughter-in-Law), Michael Belas (Brother), Danita Belas (Sister-in-Law), Julia Bechard (Sister), Michael Bechard (Brother-in-Law), Clyde Wyatt, Jr. (Brother-Deceased), Wendy Belas (Sister- Deceased), Marcia Belas (Sister), Debbie Cogliano (Sister-in-Law), Vincent Cogliano (Brother-in-Law), Janet Dziesinski (Sister-in-Law), Ronnie and Martha Holland, Jerry and Janice Allman, as well as numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and his fur babies.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Hopewell Baptist Church at 12 PM with Rev. Braden Martin and Rev. Danny Emory officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church.
