Kimberly Tomlinson Robbins, 50, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her residence.
Kimberly was born January 19, 1973, in Burke County to Dennis Tomlinson and Cathy Carpenter Tomlinson. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, “Mimi”, and friend. She would always put others before herself and never ask for anything in return. She had a laugh that was very contagious and a beautiful smile. Kimberly enjoyed gardening, writing poems, arts and crafts, and many other things. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
She was free spirited and had the heart of an Angel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Robbins; an Angel baby; paternal grandparents, J.C. and Ellen Tomlinson; maternal grandparents, Jack and Bonnie Carpenter; and cousins, Beth and Rodney Abernathy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by son, Josh Ervin (Nikki); daughter, Brandy Wills (Josh); 3 grandchildren, Bentley Ervin, Cathryn Ervin and Kayden Wills; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Theron S. Robbins; brother-in-laws, Steve Robbins (Ruth) and Rich Robbins Jr.; and many lifelong friends and kids who she was a “second” mother to.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Deval Mason officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service.

I am beyond sad, and very sorry to hear of Kimberly’s passing. I remember her as a very sweet young person who was always so kind.
