Mr. Johnnie Ralph Johnson, 64, of Morganton, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at UNC-BR Morganton, following a brief illness.
Johnnie was born on February 24, 1960, in Burke County to the late James Johnson and Nellie Faye Norman Johnson. He was a member of Burns Memorial Baptist Church and was previously employed with Henredon and Drexel Heritage Furniture. Johnnie loved his church and taught Sunday School for many years, and he was also a huge Green Bay Packers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Johnson.
Survivors include his belove wife, Agana Bradshaw Johnson of the home, one son, Andy Johnson of Salem, and one granddaughter, Annabell Johnson. Also surviving is one uncle, Clyde Norman and wife Betty of Salem, and numerous other friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Mull’s Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Dean McCurry and Rev. Paul Kidd officiating. The family encourages all to dress as casually as you wish.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at Mull’s Grove Baptist Church in Morganton.
