John came to our water aerobics class and was a joy to be around, so friendly to everyone. We talked sports all the time, just had a conversation on Monday morning about golf before the class. He will be missed so much. A great guy!
I’m so glad I got to know John. Never met someone so friendly and made you feel welcome no matter how long it had been in between visits.
I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. We went to school together, and I always smiled when I thought of him because he was smiling constantly. Praying for God’s peace and comfort for you and your family.
Amber, I am so sorry. Prayers of love and peace to you and your family.
John and I became friends when we worked for I.M.P.A.C.T., the boot camp for troubled youth. We loved going to Panthers games and made several trips to Gettysburg as we both loved history. I am so heart broken to hear he is no longer with us, but I know Heaven has gained a great angel!! I will miss John and the conversations we use to have. May God comfort Denise and his family.
John was a brother like no other, A great man and friend. My condolences to his family but know he is in the presence of the Lord.
John came to our water aerobics class. I followed him home one day because he was falling asleep in the hot tub, and I was concerned he would fall asleep driving. He did not fall asleep, and I waved goodbye, and exercised with him at the pool several more Monday and Wednesdays.
I’m so blessed I had the opportunity to know john. I met him about 3 months ago when I started lifeguarding for the ymca. He was there every morning 5 to 6 times a week always coming in with a smile on his face always so positive always talking to me helping me stay positive at work always talking sports and music. We loved the same music we always exchanged stories about sports and music. Every Day I looked so forward for john to come into the Y and do his normal workout and to here his stories. Such an amazing guy Over the past 3 months I seen that john would do anything for anyone no matter what. I was in tears the minute i heard that he had past. I pray for comfort for the family and loved ones and wish them the absolute best. He will be missed.
We loved John. Be strong Denise. He is now watching over each of you. How proud he was of those grandchildren! You will be missed John! Merry n Mike Geary, Florida
I water exercised with John at the 9 AM classes. He was a gentleman and he enjoyed the company of everyone. I am thankful that I had a good conversation with him last week. He was very proud of his family. He told me that he had a fourth grandchild on the way. He will certainly be missed by all of us. I’m praying for the family as God carries you through this sad journey .
Like any other unexpected passing, how do you process this? John was a good man, a good friend, and loved his family. He always talked about his grandkids. He loved them so much! When he wasn’t talking about grandkids it was about football, either the Panthers, or the Wildcats. All that knew him called him a friend. He’ll be greatly missed. Praying for his wife, Denise, and his daughter, Nikki, as well as the rest of the family. So sorry for your loss.
There is not enough room to say what I want to say about John we have known John& Denise over twenty years we have traveled every where together John has been my best friend so I will be with him in Heaven and continue our relationship with Jesus the one that died for us and we will never face any more death. May God bless his family (draw nigh to God and he will guide you )
