Mrs. Jewel Ellen Mull Lafferty Clay, 92, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at McCurry Family Care, following a period of declining health. Jewel was born August 10, 1926, in Burke County, to the late Carze Alexander Mull and Alice Lefevers Mull. She was a member at Southside Baptist Church.
