Mr. Jerry Ned Lambert, 85, of Valdese, passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at Autumn Care Center, after a period of declining health.
Mr. Lambert was born January 18, 1938, in Burke County, a son of the late Earl and Anne Mae Mull Lambert. Ned was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Alba-Waldensian as a Fixer. He served his country as a veteran of the US Amy. Ned loved his family and enjoyed following his son and grandchildren to all their sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Lambert , father and mother-in-law, Vance and Eva Mae Reynolds and brother-in-law, Jim Hall.
Surviving, are his wife, Lillian Reynolds Lambert of the home, a son, Scott Lambert and wife Betsy of Valdese, a brother, Roland (Nancy) Lambert of Morganton, a sister, Peggy Hall of Richmond, Va. and a sister-in-law, JoAnne Lambert of Valdese. Also Surviving are his favorites, his grandchildren, Katie Lambert of Morgantown, W. Va., Coy Lambert and wife Triniti of Morganton and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Jerry Ned Lambert will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday January 14, 2024 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Rev. Stephen Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
