Mr. Jerry Lee Norman, 76, of Valdese, went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday August 20, 2023 at UNC Healthcare, Morganton, after a period of declining health.

I became to know Jerry via my brother Gilbert smith playing golf with the moose group .we had some fun times and Jerry was the nicest person you would ever want to meet. He and his family became real close to Gilbert including him in their family cookouts. Jerry will be missed by many and especially his loving family. My God give you comfort knowing that he is well now and playing on the most beautiful golf course our eyes could not imagine
