Mr. Jerry Lee Hudson, 60, of Morganton, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at his residence.
Jerry was born on April 17, 1964 in Burke County to the late Hugh Lee Hudson and Jessie Louise McGee Hudson. He was a retired truck driver after over 30 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, Zodos “Pop” Blevins.
Survivors include his two children, Haylee Hudson of Connelly Springs and Dalton Hudson of Charleston, SC, a sister, Robyn Draper and husband Chris of Morganton and a nephew, Levi Woody. Also surviving is his significant other, Donna Derrick and her children, David Clark, Randall Derrick, Lexi Childers and Bryson Hannah.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Chaplain Jamie Hazel officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Lawndale.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
