Mr. James “Jimmy” Patrick Hoyle, 49, of Valdese, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Jimmy was born on August 2, 1974, in Burke County, to the Cynthia Ogle Hoyle and the late Steve Hoyle Sr. He was currently employed as an asphalt and paving machine operator.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; J.P. Hoyle and Elizabeth “Lib” Hoyle, Helen Ogle Smith and Frank Smith, an uncle, Buddy Ogle, and two aunts, Betty Jo LeFevers and Lydia Hoyle.
Surviving are his mother, Cynthia Hoyle of the home, and two brothers, Christopher Hoyle and Steve Hoyle Jr., both of Valdese. Also surviving are aunts, Rena Benfield and Dorbert Hines Ogle, uncles, Ken Benfield and Ronnie Hoyle, three cousins, Michael Benfield, Mark Sharp and Matt Ogle, a niece, Hayden Hoyle, and Nephew, Darien Hudson, and a number of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Rev. Ronnie LeFevers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
